Albert Jacka’s Victoria Cross stunt at Gallipoli on 19 May 1915 appeared in ‘The Victor’ comic book series on 9 September, 1972. It was supplied by Aileen and Marie Howard of Bendigo, daughters of William (Bill) Howard, whose wounding in that action is depicted.
